Job Title : Automation Testing Engineer

Location : Chennai / Bangalore

Experience : 6 to 8 Years

Working Hours : 2 PM - 10 PM (5 days a week, Work from Office)

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Automation Testing Engineer to join our team. As part of our testing team, you will be responsible for automating test scripts, executing tests, and ensuring that software applications are delivered with high quality. Your expertise in Java, Selenium, and Jenkins will play a key role in building and maintaining automated test frameworks and ensuring seamless integration into our CI/CD pipeline.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.

- Integrate automated tests with the Jenkins CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing.

- Design and execute test plans and scenarios for new features and applications.

- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing of web applications.

- Collaborate with developers and other team members to identify and resolve software defects.

- Participate in the review of test requirements, technical design, and functional specifications to ensure full coverage.

- Enhance and optimize the existing test automation framework to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

- Provide feedback on software quality and assist with bug analysis and root cause identification.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all test scripts, results, and bug reports.

- Continuously explore and implement best practices in automation testing to improve quality and speed.

Must-Have Skills :

- 6 to 8 years of experience in Automation Testing with a strong background in Java.

- Expertise in Selenium for automating web application tests.

- Solid experience working with Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous testing.

- In-depth understanding of Test Automation Frameworks and best practices.

- Strong knowledge of Java for scripting and implementing automated tests.

- Experience with functional, regression, and performance testing.

- Knowledge of testing methodologies and defect tracking processes.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work within cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Exposure to other test automation tools (e.g., Appium, TestNG, JUnit).

- Familiarity with Agile development practices.

- Knowledge of API Testing or experience with tools like Postman.

- Experience with Docker or Kubernetes for containerized testing environments.
