Automation Test Engineer - Java/Selenium (4-6 yrs)

We are looking for a talented individual with the ability to lead the testing of custom technology solutions. The ideal candidate will be accountable for defining the scope of test scenarios, understanding business requirements, executing tests, and reporting results.

They should be experts in creating automated test suites for APIs using tools such as Postman and Insomnia and capable of developing solutions to client problems through method and automation tool selection. The role requires innovation in building and maintaining test accelerators to meet client needs and developing predictive and intelligent testing approaches for automation and innovative testing products and solutions. Additionally, the candidate will be involved in test coordination activities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the testing of custom technology solutions.

- Define the scope of test scenarios and understand business requirements.

- Execute tests and report results.

- Create automated test suites for APIs using Postman and Insomnia.

- Develop solutions to client problems through the application of methods and automation tool selection.

- Innovate in building and maintaining test accelerators to meet client needs.

- Develop predictive and intelligent testing approaches for automation and innovative testing products and solutions.

- Be involved in test coordination activities.

- Conduct API testing and database testing to ensure robust and reliable systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

- A minimum of 4 years of experience in software development, testing, and project management.

- Bachelor's degree or higher.

- Strong experience with different software development methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile) and strong knowledge of testing principles.

- Proficient in test automation tools such as Selenium (Java), Cucumber, MicroFocus UFT, scripting languages, and test management tools.

- Advanced working knowledge of Postman, Insomnia, and JavaScript scripting.

- Strong knowledge of data analytics using SQL.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Basic knowledge of AWS.

- Good understanding of version control tools like Git.

- Experience in API testing and database testing
