Automation Test Engineer - Java/Selenium (3-5 yrs)

About the Client : A global IT MNC company

Role : Automation Test Engineer / Quality Engineer - Selenium, Java & API Testing

Experience : 3 to 5 years

Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)

Note : Looking for candidates who are currently in a Career Break (preferably Female candidates)

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts for various applications.

- Define and execute test automation strategies and plans tailored to project needs.

- Contribute to and improve the test automation framework.

- Oversee automated application build, deployment, and support processes using tools like Maven and Ant.

- Manage version control and continuous integration workflows with Jenkins and Stash.

- Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders to communicate progress and challenges.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

- Relevant experience in test automation and software development.

- Strong background in building, maintaining, and optimizing automated test scripts, with proficiency in tools such as Selenium, FitNesse, Java, and API testing.

- Experience in the financial services domain, particularly with mutual funds.

- Familiarity with Unix/Linux, shell scripting, Tomcat, Docker, and scheduling tools like ControlM.

- Understanding of agile methodologies and practices.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly.

- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
