Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning:
• Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the company's overall vision and goals.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities in solar power projects.
• Business Growth:
• Lead efforts to expand our portfolio of solar power projects through new client acquisitions, partnerships, and collaborations.
• Foster relationships with key stakeholders including investors, developers, contractors, and government agencies.
• Market Penetration:
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry.
• Identify emerging markets and opportunities for expansion.
• Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements that are beneficial to both parties.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead a team of business development professionals; provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
• Ensure that all team members are equipped with the necessary tools and resources to meet their objectives.
• Proposal Development:
• Oversee the preparation of proposals for new projects; ensure they are compelling, well-researched, and aligned with client needs.
• Regulatory Compliance:
• Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting solar power projects; advise on compliance strategies.
• Performance Metrics & Reporting:
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for business development activities; monitor progress against these metrics.
• Provide regular reports to senior management on business development activities, successes, challenges, and future plans.
