Navaratan Technologies - Business Analyst - Fund Management (4-6 yrs)

Navtech is looking for a Finance Business Analyst (Fund Management) to support the design, documentation, and implementation of workflows, processes, and regulatory compliance frameworks for a SEBI-registered Alternative Investment Fund (AIF). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, in-depth knowledge of SEBI regulations, and expertise in requirement gathering, process design, and reporting.

Working as a Business Analyst (Fund Management) at Navtech, you will:

- Collaborate with fund managers, compliance teams, and stakeholders to gather business and functional requirements. Create comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs) for fund operations.

- Design end-to-end workflows for: Fund registration and compliance with SEBI guidelines. Investor onboarding, KYC checks, and agreement management.

- Portfolio management and investment tracking. Fund reporting, auditing, and performance tracking. Identify inefficiencies & recomment improvements to workflows, etc Ensure all workflows and processes adhere to SEBI's AIF regulations. Assist in preparing periodic regulatory filings, including fund performance reports and compliance documentation.

- Define requirements for reporting tools and dashboards for investor performance, risk assessments, and portfolio analytics. Collaborate with IT teams to develop and validate reports.

- Act as a liaison between fund managers, investors, legal teams, and IT departments. Conduct workshops and meetings to align stakeholders on project requirements and progress.

- Assist in selecting and implementing fund administration software and compliance tools. Test and validate system functionalities against business requirements.

Who Are We Looking For Exactly?

- Proven working experience of 4+ years as a Finance Analyst in financial services, preferably with exposure to Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) or asset management.

- Strong understanding of SEBI AIF regulations and compliance requirements.

- Proficiency in creating process diagrams using tools like Visio, Lucid Chart, or similar.

- Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications

- Hands on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages

- Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills

- Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis

- Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market and business environments

- Should have a Masters/Bachelors (BS) degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related degrees and throughout education in English medium.
