As a successful Project Manager (Remote), you will participate in complex, cross-functional projects with a high business impact. Your main task will be project management and execution within Engineering R&D. The primary focus of this role will be on our Hearing and Balance products and participation in setting and delivering goals for the Engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, engineering, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges associated with developing medical devices with a global team and hybrid work environment. This position reports into the head of R&D and requires leadership experience that will provide direction and guidance to R&D teammates.

L ocation: based 100% remotely in Bengaluru (but might turn into a physical presence in an office role)

In this job, you will:

• Lead and execute the project by compiling the project plan, assigning tasks and delivering and reporting out on these tasks.
• Coordinate deliverables for each engineer and track and report progress for each assigned task. Report out daily, weekly and monthly on project performance against milestones.
• Identify risks and proposed actions to mitigate the risks.
• Coordinate external testi ng .
• Create ECOs (Engineering Change Orders), DCOs (Document Change Orders), Plans, Protocols and Reports under broad direction.
• Create and / or update project documentation in alignment with Natus QMS procedures.
• Create and maintain the technical documentation for building a complete device master record.
• Travel: up to 10% as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering or Project Management with working knowledge of engineering principles and at least 5 years related experience and/or training in project management in the medical device industry. A combination of education and experience can be considered.
• Medical device design experience required.
• Strong demonstrated experience managing projects.
• Proficient in project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA or similar, and related methodologies.
• Strongly adept in the waterfall project management approach.
• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrate good approach to problem solving and project management.
• Knowledge and Interpretation of FDA guidelines and ISO 13485 requirements.
• Demonstrated utilization of Design for Manufacture/Assembly and Design for Test methodologies highly desirable.
