Role: Deputy General Counsel (Legal)

Location: Bangalore

Educational Qualifications: LLB

Post Qualification Work Experience: 10-17 Years

Note: Candidates having substantial law firm experience would be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Providing advisories on planning corporate restructuring.

- Corporate, M&A (India & International).

- Business Advisory, Intellectual Property, Privacy Issues, and with excellent contract drafting and negotiating skills.

- Handling policy, compliance, transactional, commercial, or product development issues-integrating legal knowledge with sound business understanding

- Reviewing and interpreting pending or new legislation or regulatory rules impacting the business to ensure compliance or strategy changes.

- Administer contracting standards and processes ensuring compliance with policies and procedures while finalizing contracts for execution.

Knowledge Areas:

- Good understanding of Company Law, CCI, IT Act, FEMA, Education laws, Contracts Act, IPR Laws, Arbitration, Employment Laws, Transactions.
