Job Description

Role & responsibilities :


Key Role :

The National Sales Head will be responsible for driving the overall sales strategy, managing key accounts, and achieving sales targets across India. This role involves developing and implementing sales plans, managing the sales team, and building strong relationships with distributors and key customers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sales management within the automotive aftermarket industry and a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets .


Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.

2. Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the national sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development to the sales team.

3. Key Account Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and dealers.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of agreements with major customers.

4. Market Expansion:

  • Identify and develop new market segments to expand the companys market presence.
  • Implement strategies to increase market share and brand awareness.

5. Sales Operations:

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Ensure efficient sales operations and processes, including order management, inventory control, and distribution.

6. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service.
  • Conduct regular market visits to gather customer feedback and insights.

7. Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve sales targets.
  • Monitor and control sales expenses to maximize profitability.


Preferred candidate profile

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the automotive whitelable /Aftermarket industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
