Quality Analyst/Reliability Engineer

Domain Experience :

• 3+ years of experience in automation testing processes, technologies and methodologies for both front-end and back-end of mobile devices.
• Bachelors in Computer Science (or related field).
• Deep proficiency in creating automation testing suites with Selenium/ Appium for native app using Core Java along with API automation with grid and CI/CD pipeline setup. Unix logs analysis & debugging assistance.
• Experience validating acceptance of user stories against development team deliverables. Must be able to flag defects, variations and additions to deliverables against established user stories.
• Experience applying software performance tests and generating improvement plans, would be value add.

Agile & Digital Experience :

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Tester experience in an Agile cross-functional team is preferable.

• Strong communication skills with ability to communicate complex technical concepts and align organization on decisions.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to process complex information quickly and present it clearly and easily.
• Use team collaboration to create innovative solutions efficiently.

Responsibilities :

• Ensure that all functions developed by the team are tested.
• Combine automated/manual testing to efficiently cover system functionality without compromising quality.
• Provide the team with detailed information on any faults found and help the Agile Coach and PO prioritize the backlog.
• Strives to automate and maintain comprehensive test sets with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Work with IT and operations to facilitate tests in production environments for prod. Pipe-clean testing.
• Help developers to reproduce errors/app crash in test/dev environments as SME (Subject Matter Expert) for RCA (root cause analysis).
• Understand the product vision and work closely with designers and PO to translate their vision into a test.
• Partners with development teams to identify key risk areas in new solutions.
• Actively participate in scrum ceremonies as needed to provide clarification and problem solve with the team.
