Senior Registrar Obstetric and Gynecology

Role & responsibilities

• Provide expert care for obstetric and gynecological patients, including both routine and high-risk pregnancies.
• Conduct prenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care for patients, ensuring optimal outcomes for both mother and baby.
• Perform gynecological procedures and surgeries such as cesarean sections, laparoscopies, hysterectomies, and D&Cs.
• Assess and manage gynecological conditions, including menstrual disorders, fibroids, PCOS, endometriosis, and infertility.
• Provide counseling on family planning, contraceptive options, and fertility treatments.
• Assist in the emergency management of obstetric complications such as preeclampsia, eclampsia, and postpartum hemorrhage.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other specialists, nurses, and healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient medical records, treatment plans, and surgical notes.
• Participate in ongoing training, research, and professional development opportunities.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications:

• MS/MD/DGO in Obstetrics & Gynecology or equivalent from a recognized medical institution.

Valid medical license to practice ( KMC).
