Dermatologist

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnosis and Treatment:
• Diagnose, treat, and manage various dermatological conditions online/offline
• Develop Diagnostic & Therapeutic Protocols for various skin disorders
• Prescribe and manage medications and treatment plans online/offline for patients with skin conditions.
• Provide specialized care in areas such as clinical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, or dermatologic surgery, depending on expertise.
• Patient Care:
• Assess patient medical histories, symptoms, and skin conditions to determine appropriate course of treatment.
• Communicate treatment options and procedures effectively to patients.
• Provide education and guidance on skin care and preventive dermatology practices.
• Offer emotional support and counseling to patients dealing with long-term or chronic skin conditions.
• Collaboration:
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
• Work with medical teams to discuss complex cases and treatment plans.
• Stay up-to-date on current dermatology research, innovations, and new treatments.
• Clinical Documentation:
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with medical regulations.
• Ensure proper documentation of diagnoses, treatment plans, procedures, and follow-up care.
• Research and Medical Education:
• Design and execute Real World Evidence (RWE) studies or clinical research studies as required.
• Continuously improve knowledge by attending dermatology conferences, workshops, and training.
• Provide training, guidance and mentorship to marketing and sales team.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Diploma in Dermatology & Venereology (DVD) /Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree with a specialization in Dermatology.

• Experience:
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in dermatology, with expertise in diagnosing and treating a variety of skin conditions.
• Dermatology Teleconsultation experience would be preferred, but not mandatory
• Experience in performing dermatological procedures such as skin biopsies, excisions, and cosmetic treatments (laser therapy, Botox, etc.).

• Skills:
• Strong clinical knowledge of dermatology, including dermatopathology, cosmetic dermatology, and dermatologic surgery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple cases.
• Knowledge of the latest dermatological treatments and techniques.

• Licenses/Certifications:
• Valid medical license to practice dermatology in India.
• Board certification in Dermatology (desired).

• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Desired Qualifications:

• Fellowship training in a subspecialty of dermatology (e.g., pediatric dermatology, dermatologic surgery, or cosmetic dermatology).
• Experience with advanced dermatological technology, including lasers, light-based treatments, and dermoscopy.

Additional Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with medical databases and software.
