Provides family medicine care according to assigned patients to current best-evidence based standardsusing best judgment at all times and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
Establishes a therapeutic relationship with patients/families in an effort to promote compliance and shared participation in a caring environment.
Carries out other clinical duties as assigned by the Medical Superitendent and in accordance with individually approved clinical privileges.
Review patient chart and maintain record for allergiesmedical problemsmedications and immunization status.
Participates in review and planning activities relevant to family medicine services and the hospital.
Participates in activities and opportunities to promote the family medicine services and the hospital to the general public and wider medical community.
Fulfills professional requirements for continuing maintenance of competence in all aspects of family medicine.
Carries out other assigned duties within the appropriate scope of knowledgeskills and abilities of the position.
The post holder is responsible for providing comprehensive clinical consultant level patient care in family medicine. This responsibility may be shared with other specialists/consultants in family medicine in the hospital.
Refer patient to medical specialist for consultant services if needed for better treatment..

Able to respond to demanding and complicated patient situations. Effective communication with other doctors as well as patients. Maintain concise timely and accurate confidential records of patients. Able to prioritize patients according to their clinical needs. Good time management skills to balance the clinical and administrative duties. Able to work long hours and often under tight pressure.
