- The Sales Manager for Business Loans (BL) will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding the distribution network, and ensuring efficient service delivery for Business Loans and Loans Against Property (LAP).
- This role requires a deep understanding of the local market, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage relationships with Direct Selling Agents (DSAs) and customers.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Loan Origination:
- Originate and close loans for Business Loans (BL) and Loans Against Property (LAP).
- Handle end-to-end processes, including sanctioning and disbursement, to meet monthly targets.
Distribution Network:
- Establish and manage the distribution network for financial products.
- Empanel and maintain good relationships with DSAs to drive business.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute monthly and quarterly strategies for LAP and BL sales to achieve organizational goals.
- Identify new market opportunities and emerging business lines.
Portfolio Management:
- Build and manage a portfolio of existing customers, providing prompt and efficient service.
- Regularly interact with clients for portfolio updates, investment structuring, and documentation.
Product Expertise and Market Knowledge:
- Stay updated with the latest financial products and market trends.
- Ensure alignment with organizational product evolution and development priorities.
Service Excellence:
- Work with internal support teams to ensure optimum turnaround time (TAT) and service delivery.
- Address and resolve any operational challenges that may arise.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and submit timely MIS reports for review.
- Use data and logic to analyze market trends, performance metrics, and product success criteria.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Regularly interact with senior management to align sales strategies with business objectives.
- Act as a key liaison between customers, DSAs, and internal teams.
Key Skills Required:
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal effectiveness and influencing ability to build trust with clients and stakeholders.
Market Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of the local market for LAP and BL products.
- Ability to identify opportunities and create strategic plans to exploit them effectively.
