Commercial Manager - Retail (Finance)

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide Category Managers on commercial decisions, including pricing, discounts, and margins.
• Validate and approve buying decisions to ensure profitability and alignment with financial goals.
• Provide business finance support, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Develop and manage dashboard MIS to track key performance indicators and financial metrics.
• Oversee systems and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.
• Manage claims and ensure timely resolution of any financial discrepancies.
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and support business growth.

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of retail finance and commercial operations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
