Job Description

. The candidate will be responsible for deploying, managing, and automating private and multi-region cloud infrastructures, providing support for IaaS, PaaS, NaaS, FwaaS, and CaaS, and ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:

OpenStack & CloudStack Deployment:
- Lead the deployment and management of OpenStack private clouds across multiple regions (Havana to Stein releases).
- Deploy and maintain CloudStack environments for IaaS, PaaS, NaaS, FwaaS, and CaaS services.
- Ceph Storage Expertise:
  
  Design, deploy, and manage Ceph clusters for highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant storage solutions across cloud environments.
  
  Integrate Ceph for block storage, object storage, and SDS (Software Defined Storage) to support OpenStack, Kubernetes, and other cloud platforms.
  
  Optimize Ceph performance and ensure data redundancy, security, and availability.
  
  Cloud Integration & Management:
  
  Integrate and manage CloudKitty and HostBill billing solutions.
  
  Deploy and maintain Ceph for storage and SDS solutions.
  
  Hands-on management of multi-cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, Rackspace, VCloud, and OpenStack.
  
  Automation & Orchestration:
  
  Automate cloud deployments using Fuel, RDO, Devstack, Packstack, and OpenStack TripleO (OOO).
  
  Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform, Docker, GitHub, DockerHub, and GitLab.
  
  Containerization & Orchestration Tools:
  
  Work with container platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher, and Longhorn SDS.
  
  Manage cloud-native applications with Cloud Foundry.
  
  Hypervisor & Virtualization Expertise:
  
  Deploy and manage virtual machines and services across hypervisors, including KVM, QEMU, Hyper-V, ESXi, and XenServer.
  
  VNF Deployment & Management:
  
  Deploy Virtual Network Functions (VNFs) using platforms like Cisco CSR, Juniper SRX, Palo Alto, Riverbed, Silverpeak, Fortigate, pfSense, and Velocloud.
  
  Work with NFV concepts such as ETSI NFV models, VNFDs, and NSDs.
  
  Software-Defined Infrastructure:
  
  Manage SDN and SDDC deployments using OpenStack Neutron, OpenStack Tacker, Ciena Blue Planet, OSNOS, OpenFlow, and OpenvSwitch.
  
  Networking Expertise:
  
  Configure networks with VLANs, VLSM, subnetting, and routing protocols.
  
  Manage L1/L2 network switching, spanning tree protocols, and network forwarding mechanisms.
  
  Configure and troubleshoot NAT, PAT, DHCP, BOOTP, ARP, DNS, and IPv4/IPv6.
  
  Required Qualifications:
  
  Experience:
  
  5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud deployment and infrastructure management with OpenStack (Havana to Stein) and CloudStack.
  
  Technical Skills:
  
  Expertise in private (Openstack) and public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Rackspace, and VCloud.
  
  Proficiency with automation tools like Fuel, RDO, Devstack, Packstack, and Terraform.
  
  Experience with containerization (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker) and SDS technologies like Ceph and GlusterFS.
  
  Familiarity with hypervisors and virtualization technologies (KVM, ESXi, XenServer, Hyper-V).
  
  Strong understanding of VNF deployment and SDN/NFV concepts.
  
  Worked in Ceph Storage (Added Now)
  
  Networking Skills:
  
  Solid understanding of subnetting, VLANs, routing protocols, and Layer 1/2 network protocols.
  
  Experience with NAT, PAT, DHCP, DNS, and IPv4/IPv6 networking.
