Job Description Title: Trainer
Reporting to: Lead Trainer
Location: Hyderabad
Position Description:
The Trainer is responsible for assisting in the development and delivery of training programs for the domestic formulations sales team. This role involves conducting training sessions, facilitating workshops, and providing ongoing support to sales representatives to enhance their product knowledge, selling skills, and compliance awareness. The Trainer collaborates closely with the Lead Trainer and sales management to ensure that training initiatives align with the company's objectives and effectively address the needs of the sales team.
Education Degree:
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences. (Mandatory)
Experience:
- Minimum of 6 Months - 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or training roles.
- Familiarity with sales processes and training methodologies in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the execution of training programs focused on product knowledge, sales techniques, and compliance for the domestic formulations sales team.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops, utilizing effective teaching methodologies to engage participants and facilitate learning.
- Provide support and guidance to sales representatives during and after training to reinforce learning and enhance skills.
- Help create and update training materials, including presentations, handouts, and e-learning modules.
- Monitor and evaluate participant engagement and performance during training sessions and provide feedback for improvement.
- Collaborate with the Lead Trainer to ensure that training content is relevant and aligned with business goals and product strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, product developments, and regulatory changes to ensure training content remains current and applicable.
- Assist in organizing training events and workshops, including logistics and participant communication.
- Contribute to reporting on training outcomes, participant feedback, and recommendations for future training initiatives.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Effectiveness of training programs, as measured by participant feedback and assessment scores.
- Adherence to training schedule.
- Timeliness and accuracy in updating training materials.
Required Skills:
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate participants during training sessions.
- Basic knowledge of training methodologies and adult learning principles.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training technologies is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical products and sales processes.
Operating Network:
- Internal - Lead Trainer, Sales team, Marketing team, HR team.
- External - Training vendors, Regulatory bodies, Industry associations.
