Senior Manager, PingFederate Engineer

Role Overview

• Experience on the Public Cloud with the Ping Identity product stack (Ping Federate, Ping Access, Ping Authorize) and Transmit Security / ForgeRock products.
• Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines.
• Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices.
• Keen understanding of financial control and budget management.
• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture.
• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 8 to 10 years of minimum experience.
• PingFederate/ PingAccess or similar experience with other Web Access Management solutions.
• Strong understanding of OpenID Connect, OAuth, and SAML protocols.
• Strong understanding of how to protect APIs and Web Services.
• Scripting/programming skills.
• Good understanding of CI/CD automation tools.
• Hands on experience with UNIX and Windows environments.
• Ability to coach/mentor junior engineers.
• Ability to work in highly collaborative and cross functional team.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of PingOne / ForgeRock platform, tools, and capabilities.
• Strong understanding of authentication technologies: SAML, OpenID connect, OAuth/OIDC, WS-FED authentication as well as other authentication methods.
• Public Cloud AWS
• Strong working knowledge of PingFederate Policy Server, and policy enforcement
• Strong understanding of access management, federated identity, 2-factor solutions, MFA, and LDAP Directories.
• Demonstrate deployment capabilities of PingOne / ForgeRock tools across diverse environments.
• Provide hyper care and transitional support for applications onboarding and migration activities.
• Configure Ping Identity Federation and other related components.
• Strong understanding of business process, internal controls, risk management, IT controls and standards.
• Demonstrated ability to install, integrate and deploy PingOne / ForgeRock.
• Communication - Strong communication skills are a must - the ability to communicate with the teams, stakeholders on all aspects of the product and implementation at a technical and functional level.
• Strong analytical skills
• The ability to collaborate and create open working relationships with internal and external teams, vendors, stakeholders, and product owners.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
