Corporate Actions Equity Associate

MSCI Equity Indexes are maintained with the objective of reflecting the evolution of the underlying equity markets on a timely basis.
The Corporate Events Team is responsible for daily maintenance of index by reflecting impact of ongoing corporate events like MAs, spin-offs, bankruptcies, reorganizations and other corporate actions (e.g. stock splits, rights offerings, dividends, etc.) following the principles of
replicability, consistency, continuity and minimizing turnover.
Depending on the nature of the corporate action there may be changes in index memberships, weights, size, style and industry classifications.
The team is responsible for timely identification, review and assessing the replication considerations of corporate action related changes in client portfolios in order to facilitate appropriate maintenance of the Equity Indexes.
