Commercial Manager

Location: Bidadi, industrial area, Bangalore Rural

Working days: Monday to Saturday

Education: Graduate/MBA/ICWA

Experience: 15 years, Mandatory 10 years in manufacturing

This role responsible for analyzing and managing cost structures within an organization. They work closely with finance, operations, and supply chain teams to evaluate production costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cost Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs to determine the total cost of production.
• Monitor variances between actual and standard costs and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare reports and presentations on cost trends, forecasts, and recommendations.

2. Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist in the preparation of cost budgets and financial forecasts.
• Provide cost estimates for new projects, products, or process changes.
• Support management in decision-making by providing cost-benefit analyses.

3. Process Improvement & Cost Optimization

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements.
• Collaborate with supply chain and production teams to reduce waste and inefficiencies.
• Implement cost-control measures to enhance profitability.

4. Inventory & Pricing Management

• Monitor inventory costs and recommend pricing strategies.
• Support product pricing decisions by analyzing cost structures and market trends.
• Ensure accuracy in standard costing and inventory valuation.

5. Financial Compliance & Audits

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting principles, and company policies.
• Support internal and external audits related to costing and inventory valuation.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for cost accounting.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and financial analysis.
