5 + Yrs. Data Engineering Specialist

Technical Skills:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Power BI dashboards and reports that provide valuable insights into business performance.
• Perform data modeling activities, including dimensional modeling, star schema design, and data cleansing/transformation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements and translate them into effective visualizations.
• Optimize Power BI models and reports for performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality, report performance, and data connectivity.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in Power BI and data visualization best practices.
• Provide support and training to end-users on how to use and interact with Power BI reports.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of data governance processes.
• Proficient in database technologies such as Redshift, Postgres, or SQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align database design with organizational goals.
• A strong design-centric mindset focused on creating efficient and sustainable database solutions.
• An ownership attitude, taking full responsibility for database integrity and performance.
• Proactive in identifying potential issues and opportunities for improvement.

Process Skills:

• Experience with Agile projects

Qualification:

• Bachelor of Engineering (Computer background preferred)
