General Ledger Finance and Accounting

We seek a results driven and confident financial controller to manage financial operation and direct out accounting operations at controllership end. This position will encompass financial management, reporting, risk assessment, compliance audits and strategic decision support. Duties for the controller will include managing accounting records, ensuring compliance with regulations, publishing financial statements, coordinating audit processes and ensuring accuracy of financial information.

Detailed activity would involve

• Collecting and consolidating financial data
• Supervising accounting and finance departments
• Preparing financial statements, both internal and external
• Ensuring compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations
• Coordinating external auditor activity
• Providing company leaders with insights for decision-making purposes
• Establish and maintain financial controls
• Assess and improve accounting procedures
• Identify, develop, and monitor KPIs
• Manage regulatory reporting
• Screen, hire, train, and retain accounting department employees

Qualifications, skills and experience

• Chartered accountant with 15 + years of experience
• Experience working in controllership department earlier
