Azure Engineer - Cloud Security (10-17 yrs)

Experience : 10-15 Years.

Location : Hyderabad, Bangalore, Kolhapur.

Cloud Security :

- Design and implement security solutions using Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.

- Conduct security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.

- Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).

Identity and Access Management(IAM) :

- Manage and configure Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) for identity and access control.

- Set up and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access Policies, and Identity Protection.

Role based Access control(RBAC) :

- Design and implement fine-grained RBAC policies to ensure least-privilege access for users and services.

- Regularly audit and optimize RBAC roles to align with organizational needs.

- Automate RBAC assignments using Azure PowerShell, CLI, or Terraform.

Microsoft Entra(Azure AD and Beyond) :

Manage Microsoft Entra services, including Entra Permissions Management, Entra Verified ID, and Entra Workload Identity.

Enable secure collaboration with external partners using Entra features like B2B and B2C.

Technical Expertise :

- Strong understanding of Azure Security, IAM, RBAC, and Microsoft Entra.

- Proficiency in security tools such as Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and Defender for Identity.

- Hands-on experience with Conditional Access Policies, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Managed Identities.

Tools and Technologies :

- Proficient in using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Bicep).

- Experience with identity federation, SAML, OpenID Connect, and OAuth2.

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Excellent collaboration and teamwork abilities.

Certifications :

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500).

- Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300).

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).

- Experience with hybrid identity setups and integrating on-premise AD with Azure AD.

- Familiarity with Zero Trust security principles.
