Finance Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Payroll Management: Expertise in calculating and processing payroll, tax deductions, benefits, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Managed payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely disbursements of salaries, benefits, and deductions.
• Worked closely with HR and management teams to ensure all financial policies and procedures related to payroll and reimbursements were followed.
• General Accounting: Strong understanding of accounting principles, general ledger entries, journal entries, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
• Reconciled general ledger accounts and prepared monthly financial statements, maintaining compliance with accounting principles.
• Employee Reimbursement: Proficient in managing employee reimbursement requests, ensuring timely processing, and adhering to company policies.
• Handled employee reimbursement requests for business expenses, including review and approval of receipts, processing of payments, and record-keeping.
• Processed employee reimbursements according to company policies, ensuring timely payment and compliance with budgetary constraints.
• Banking Activities: Experience with managing bank transactions, reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, and liaising with financial institutions.
• Oversaw banking transactions including bank account reconciliations, deposits, and monitoring of cash flow to ensure sufficient working capital.
• Conducted monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, ensuring discrepancies were identified and resolved in a timely manner.
• Administrative Support: Coordinated administrative duties, such as scheduling meetings, filing reports, and maintaining financial records.
• Software Proficiency: Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero), Excel (advanced), and payroll systems.

Qualifications:

• B.com / M.Com / MBA with B.com.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in treasury, taxation, general accounting
• Strong understanding on tax matters and liaison with tax authorities and bankers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
