Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

Morgan Stanley Electronic Trading ( MSET ) is a global leader in equity and derivatives electronic trading. The MSET Vendors group coordinates new client onboards including vendor relationships and FIX connectivity. This role, based in Mumbai, requires the individual to work closely with global products and client coverage across the execution services business. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, fast-learning, proactive and self-motivated individual who helps manage the EMS/OMS vendors relationships globally including client trading connectivity, cost management, contract negotiation and maintenance of both MS and bespoke client functionality and destinations on the platforms.

The basic skills required for this role are the ability to understand and navigate client workflow, assess cost and risk, manage large datasets and manipulate data in response to queries confidently, completely and promptly.

The key elements of the role are

Experience with third party Execution and Order Management Systems

Detailed understanding of FIX protocol and connectivity workflow

Review and execution of client and 3 rd party vendor requests

Management of cost and profitability of vendor relations with new client onboards

Liaison with IT teams to drive IT enhancements goals

Likes

Leave policy and employee support is good at Morgan Stanley. Medical benifits, career development courses are available. While joining they provide good percent hike over your existing salary.

Dislikes

Appraisal hikes are very low, less then market standard. Favouritism happens very frequent, community support culture is followed by senior management. Internal movements are purely dominated and managed by senior management. They don't let you leave team easily, or they spoil your ratings.
