Job Description
- Filing earnings reports from stock exchanges and company press releases.
- Writing other news relevant to Debtwire subscribers from news outlets and public records.
- Compiling data for earnings calendars.
- Monitoring and recording earning calls.
- Produce clear and concise updates and reports, ensuring information is relevant, accurate, and aligned with our editorial standards.
- Work closely with internal teams to enhance our aggregation efforts and foster knowledge-sharing across departments.
- Other duties
- Sourcing and aggregating news on:
- MA
- Anti-trust
- Equity capital markets transactions
- Shareholder activism
- Private equity funding
- Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree.
- Previous experience in journalism or a related role, particularly in financial reporting, is a strong advantage.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- An ability to analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources quickly and accurately.
- Proficiency in working with digital tools and platforms for news monitoring and aggregation.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
- A collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
