Assistant Manager - Purchase

Key Responsibilities :-

• Knowledge of engineering project purchase and contracts
• Should also have experience on maintenance purchase , services and  Annual maintenance contracts and annual rate contracts
• Has knowledge about import orders and the procedure for follow up and closure of bills and payments
• Should be able to coordinate with cross functional team namely finance, accounts and stores and respective engineering departments and resolves issues independently
• Has knowledge about purchase procedure of static equipment, rotary equipment, mechanical packages ,piping , electrical and instrumentation items
• Should have knowledge on civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and insulation tenders for projects
• Should have good knowledge of MS office Excel and other tools
• Should have worked on ERP system
• Will have to prepare and support on project budget and should have current market knowledge of cost and rates analysis
• Should be able to access the current stock of the material in ERP system and cross compare with the indent raised by project consultant/ internal team
• Should be hands-on will be required to prepare the quotation comparison report with rate analysis of earlier purchase etc and negotiate the same before sending the same to top management
• Should be flexible with work timings which will extend at times depending on work load
• Working will be six days a week
• Filing and cataloguing of the purchase order in hard copy in box files etc and soft copy on Server will also be your responsibility
• Preparation of MIS reports as may be required
