Assistant Purchase Manager (OSD)

This note describes the role and requirements for Procurement professional based in Bengaluru or Mysore, Karnataka India. Expected 10 years in Procurement / Purchase operations with significant focus on OSD Plants pharmaceutical Raw material, excipients, Chemicals and packaging.

This position will require successfully leading negotiation processes with vendors to ensure procurement at the most competitive terms, supply security of materials, strong vendor relationships and absolute integrity.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Materials requirement & purchase across manufacturing sites, R&D sites and QC sites including CAPEX investments.
• Build negotiations strategy for materials and equipment.
• Identify vendors working with other departments
• Lead the negotiations process with vendors with the aim to get the best competitive price and supply security.
• Drive, track and/or facilitate resolution of issues
• Understand and participate internal processes connected to procurement, accounts and finance
• Coordinate with Finance and accounts to ensure supply is as per agreed terms
• Ensure each delivery is accompanied with full set of documentation.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• Candidate should prefer with pharma OSD background experience.
• Should have good communication.
• should have capability to coordinate with Vendors.
• Excellent analytical skills, ability to assess risks, to summarize complex situations
