Senior Manager - Supply Manager

Job Summary:
The Senior Manager, Supply Chain will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery of products to customers in the European market. This role involves strategic planning, process development, and collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders to meet customer demands and optimize supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations (80%):
1. Manage sales order processing, amendments, and cancellations.
2. Liaise with production planning, dispatch, logistics, and documentation teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
3. Handle customer complaints related to shipment errors, quality, billing, credit, documentation, and logistics.
4. Collaborate with sales managers, production planners, and plant dispatch team for demand-supply planning.
5. Analyse forecasts from the sales team and customer service team to strategize supply and production capacity.
6. Coordinate with customers on demand increases and drops.
7. Prepare visibility dashboards for the sales team comparing budget, forecast, and actual sales.
8. Responsible for ensuring co-ordination of artwork, serialization, manufacturing logistics and customer communications to enable execution of Althera products.
9. Ensuring supply of product as per customer requirements.
10. Ownership of projects in terms of production schedules, supply schedules, critical steps, risks and timelines.
11. Anticipate, identify and escalate all supply issues in a timely manner- including finalization of artworks, ensuring timely availability of materials for production, investigating discrepancies between POs and Supply Quantities in conjunction with the companies Responsible Person.
12. Ensure consistent pre-approved communication with commercial partners, marketing and sales teams.
13. Co-ordinate with other departments and Consultants to support the business needs and project requirements to meet Althera’s objectives.
14. Manage and coordinate QA approved ex-works supply of product from CMO sites.
15. Ensure all QA approved product documentation is maintained in order and shared as per agreed timelines with commercial partners.
16. Provide input into the Quality Management Review meetings.
17. Foster a culture of compliance and improvement within the company.
18. Any additional tasks deemed necessary by the Director of Supply Chain.

1. Process Development (20%):
1. Explore opportunities for automating manual processes using advanced Excel, macros, etc.
2. Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documents.

Qualifications:

• Education: Post Graduate degree in Operations Management, Pharmacy, MSc, or related field.
• Experience: 8-16 years of experience in supply chain management.
• Skills: Proficiency in process-driven documentation and maintaining policies and procedures.
• Certifications: APICS, PMP, ISM, CPIM, CSCP, or relevant certifications are preferred
