Chief Operating Officer

Position Overview:

We are a leading global e-commerce platform in the gifting space, committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences through innovative solutions. With a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, we aim to revolutionize how people celebrate and connect worldwide.

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and enhance our Operational Strategy, Supply chain, logistics, and business development as we continue our global expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Chain and Fulfillment Operations:

• Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, and last-mile delivery.
• Optimize fulfillment center operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timely order processing.
• Implement innovative solutions to enhance delivery speed, reduce costs, and improve scalability.

Day-to-Day Operations Management:

• Ensure smooth functioning of daily operations across all business units and geographies.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to measure operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain alignment with business goals.

Business Expansion and Market Growth:

• Support strategic initiatives for market entry and expansion into new geographies.
• Build and implement operational frameworks to sustain growth and scalability.
• Evaluate and manage partnerships with logistics providers and other key vendors to support expansion plans.

Customer Service Excellence:

• Lead customer service operations to ensure seamless and delightful experiences at every touchpoint.
• Develop and implement strategies to address customer feedback and improve satisfaction metrics.
• Drive initiatives to minimize service disruptions and enhance issue resolution efficiency.

Technology and Innovation:

• Partner with the CTO to leverage technology for operational excellence, including automation, AI, and data-driven decision-making.
• Identify and adopt innovative solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and streamline processes.

Financial and Operational Efficiency:

• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high service standards.
• Work with the CFO to ensure optimal resource allocation and operational budgeting.
• Monitor and manage operational risks to safeguard business continuity.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Build, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams across supply chain, fulfillment, and customer service functions.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Drive professional development initiatives to enhance team capabilities and align with business objectives.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a COO, VP of Operations, or similar leadership role in a large-scale e-commerce company, preferably in the gifting or consumer goods space.
• Strong expertise in global supply chain management, logistics, and fulfillment operations.
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills with experience managing diverse teams.
• Solid financial acumen with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning abilities.
• A track record of successfully scaling operations in a high-growth environment.
• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; MBA or equivalent is preferred.
