Strategic Assistant - Sales & Marketing (IIM Only)

Purpose

The main purpose of this role is to lead the journey towards excellence in Marketing by providing leadership to all aspects of Marketing (Sales, Business Development, Customer Service, Exports & Imports), in the process make the most desirable partner for customers and enabling human resources in order to contribute sustainable competitive advantage.

We are searching for an experienced and self-driven Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to join our Sales and Marketing team! As a CMO, who will mainly be responsible for developing and implementing new marketing strategies and lead our Sales and Marketing team by example.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Strategic Assistant to join our dynamic Sales and Marketing team. This role will provide invaluable support to our Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) in driving strategic initiatives and achieving business objectives. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your strong business acumen and data-driven approach to contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Execution:

• Collaborate with the CMO to develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans aligned with company goals.
• Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and track progress against key performance indicators (KPIs).

Data Analysis and Insights:

• Analyze sales and marketing data to identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare insightful reports and presentations to inform decision-making and drive strategic initiatives.
• Develop and maintain robust data dashboards and visualizations.

Project Management:

• Coordinate and oversee various marketing projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables.

Administrative Support:

• Provide administrative support to the CMO, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Qualifications

• MBA from a top-tier Indian Institute of Management (IIM)
• 2+ years of experience in a strategic or analytical role within sales or marketing
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
