Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Recruitment:

  • Source, screen, and interview candidates for open positions. Manage the recruitment through various portals like Naukri, Shine, LinkedIn.
  • Coordinate with TPOs for campus placement drives to hire freshers and interns from premium colleges.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire high-performing individuals across diverse talent pools.
  • Manage the entire recruitment process, from job posting to on boarding, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
  • Utilize advanced sourcing techniques and leverage technology to identify and attract top talent.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and conduct insightful interviews.
  • Conduct reference checks and make informed hiring decisions, ensuring a strong cultural fit.

HR Operations:

  • Develop and implement strategic HR initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on HR matters, offering strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Manage day-to-day HR operations and administration, employee relations, and coordination with various stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of comprehensive HR policies and procedures aligned with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
  • Negotiate with vendors for purchases related to HR process improvement or initiatives.
  • Issuing offer letters, appointment letters, absconding letters, warning letters, and experience letters.
  • Prepare MIS reports as required.
  • Provide accurate and timely HR information and support to employees and managers.

Employee Engagement:

  • Plan and execute employee engagement activities like festival celebrations, birthdays, sessions to foster a positive and productive work environment.

Training and Development:

  • Coordinate training and development programs for female workers, interns, and faculty.
  • Identify training needs through performance assessments and employee feedback.
  • Develop and schedule effective training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Partner with managers and external providers to bring in relevant training programs.
  • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary improvements.

Communication and Coordination:

  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including managers, employees, and executives, to understand & address HR needs
  • Act as a central point of contact for HR inquiries and ensure clear & timely communication with all parties involved
  • Scheduling, coordinating & managing HR meetings, interviews

Other Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day HR generalist activities.
  • Addressing grievances related to female workers
  • Continuously monitor and stay updated on evolving HR trends, best practices, and legislative changes related to labour laws and industrial relations.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives to create a workplace where everyone feels valued and respected.
  • Support the payroll team in preparing increment data for annual promotions (PA),
  • Knowledge about compliances related to ESI, PF, Factorys Act, etc

Preferred candidate profile


  • MBA-HR or related field with Minimum 3 years of experience in HR role
  • Experience in textile/garment industry is a strong plus
  • Excellent recruitment, on boarding, and employee relations skills.
  • Excellent communication written & oral, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Problem solving, analytical skills, critical thinking skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and MIS (SAP knowledge is a plus)
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies
