Role Description:
- The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with a portfolio of high-value, strategic clients.
- You will serve as the main point of contact for these clients, ensuring their satisfaction and aligning our offerings with their business objectives.
- You will collaborate closely with internal teams, from sales to customer service, to deliver exceptional experiences and meet account targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs and providing customized solutions that add value.
- Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews with key accounts to assess satisfaction levels and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Address any client concerns or issues promptly and work towards resolution in a professional manner.
Strategic Account Planning:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve long-term growth and revenue objectives for each key account.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding the scope of services offered to key accounts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the delivery of solutions that meet client needs and align with their business goals.
Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Ensure revenue targets for key accounts are met or exceeded, driving sales performance through relationship-building and business development.
- Work with the sales team to identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and generate proposals for additional services or products.
- Negotiate and close renewals, upsells, and contract extensions, ensuring favorable terms and long-term partnerships.
Customer Retention & Satisfaction:
- Proactively address any issues or concerns that could affect the long-term relationship with clients, ensuring high levels of retention and satisfaction.
- Implement customer feedback to improve products, services, or processes, fostering loyalty and increasing client lifetime value.
- Continuously monitor account health metrics and take corrective actions as necessary to maintain a strong relationship.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales, marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless experience for the client.
- Share client feedback with internal teams to help drive product improvements or modifications that meet client demands.
- Collaborate with marketing to align on messaging and campaigns for your key accounts.
Account Reporting & Analysis:
- Track and report on account performance, ensuring alignment with KPIs, revenue goals, and other objectives.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management that detail account status, challenges, opportunities, and potential risks.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, customer behavior, and growth opportunities within key accounts.
Contract Management & Negotiations:
- Oversee the contract lifecycle for key accounts, ensuring terms and conditions are met and opportunities for renewals or expansions are pursued.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for both the client and the company.
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, renewals, and discussions with clients.
