Job Description
- Manage multiple programs and projects from scoping through execution to launch - aligned with Design Controls, PDLC (Product Development Life Cycle), HPLC (Hardware Product Life Cycle), and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) requirements as applicable.
- Build comprehensive program plans based on input from cross-functional teams and manage execution holding teams accountable to their timelines, budgets, resources and deliverables . Cross-functional teams include product, design, quality, software, hardware, clinical, regulatory, operations, finance, marketing, commercial, etc.
- Clearly and concisely communicate program status and provide early visibility into risks/issues to enable timely action.
- Escalate program risks, resource needs, priority conflicts, etc. to appropriate program and functional managers.
- Refine playbooks, checklists, and project status reporting processes based on lessons learned.
- Perform a broad variety of tasks in support of the role and responsibilities.
- 10+ years experience as a Program Manager in a technical field and regulated industry ( e.g. Healthcare, Finance)
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver products/initiatives through full lifecycle from scoping to launch - including product, design, quality, software, hardware, clinical, regulatory, operations, finance, marketing, commercial, etc.
- Experience with medical device design control process
- Experience with iterative agile planning, development and delivery
- Strong written and verbal communication skills at executive level
- Proficiency in project planning tools and processes (Gantt charts, Resource planning)
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, working on multiple projects with dynamic priorities and deadlines
- Able to manage through ambiguity, define critical tasks and drive collaboration
