Telecom Mediation

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Core Expertise:

• Telecom domain knowledge
• Experience with any Telecom Mediation systems like (Amdocs Mediation, Huawei Mediation, Ericsson Mediation, DigitalRoute MediationZone, NetCracker Mediation etc). However, preferable system would be Nokia Mediation.
• Good understanding of Mediation concepts like - aggregation/correlation/concatenation of CDRs, file/CDR duplicate check etc.
• Understanding of voice/data/SMS/Volte/Roaming CDRs
• Should have working experience in decoding & debugging of CDRs

Technical Skills:

• Experience in Linux/Unix environments for system monitoring and script execution.
• Have hands-on experience of Oracle * Postgres SQL and relational databases for querying and managing data.

Operational Skills:

• Monitor and manage daily workflows for real-time and batch processing to ensure accurate data flow and meet operational KPIs
• Oversee the transformation and delivery of data between network systems and downstream platforms (e.g., billing, CRM, and data warehouses).
• Address alerts and incidents related to mediation platform performance and data errors.
• Collaborate with network teams and other stakeholders to address issues in upstream or downstream systems.
• Generate regular reports on mediation system performance, processed data, and error trends.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of mediation processes, workflows, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Use monitoring tools to track system health and data integrity.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on minimizing downtime and operational disruptions.
• Ability to analyse large volumes of data and identify discrepancies or anomalies.
• Should be aware of ITSM processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
