Hiring ETL Data stage developer

Job Purpose:

We are looking for an experienced Datastage developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and deploying data integration solutions using IBM Infosphere DataStage. Requirement Specifications

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of data integration solutions using IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
• Manage and coordinate a team of ETL developers, guiding them through complex data integration projects.
• Develop ETL processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple source systems to data warehouses or databases.
• Design and optimize data pipelines to ensure high performance, scalability, and efficiency of the ETL processes.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and debugging of DataStage jobs.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through continuous testing and validation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior team members.
• Maintain documentation related to ETL workflows, processes, and designs.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in DataStage and other relevant technologies.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DataStage development and ETL processes.
• Strong expertise in IBM InfoSphere DataStage, including job design, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and working with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Hadoop).
• Strong experience with SQL and PL/SQL for querying and managing databases.
• Experience with data integration, data migration, and data synchronization.
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
