Senior Manager - Legal

About the role:

We're seeking an individual who excels in a dynamic and ever-evolving industry, demonstrating a problem-solving mentality and a penchant for collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• 8 to 11 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).

• Hands-on experience in working with organizations, investment firms or other financial institutions in the business of B2B or B2C fintech offerings, such as PPI, Digital Lending, Payment Aggregation, Bill Payments, Investment Offerings like P2P lending, Mutual Funds, etc., or experience of working with a law firm having advised on the aforesaid businesses.

• Understanding of regulatory guidelines applicable to the fintech industry, issued by RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, and other authorities.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, drive results, and create compliance roadmaps for new products, emerging verticals, and potential innovations.

• Standardize various templates based on product offerings, and adeptness in reviewing and negotiating standard agreements such as merchant agreements, service provider agreements, NDAs, promotion agreements, etc.

• Experience of reviewing transaction documents, including Share Subscription Agreements, Share Purchase Agreements, Shareholders' Agreements, as well as debt documentation and the issuance of convertible and non-convertible instruments.

• Prior experience of managing litigation initiated for or against the company, and prior experience of using Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool.
