Legal Manager

• Draft, review, and vet various contracts and agreements. Ensure comply with regulatory requirements
• Assess legal risk and provide legal advice and opinions to internal stakeholders on various business and operational matters to minimize legal exposure
• Identify legal risks across business functions and provide solutions to mitigate exposure
• Develop and maintain internal policies and guidelines e.g. notice correspondence policy, contract management policy, compliance policy and litigation management policy
• Manage ongoing legal suits, arbitration, and dispute resolution processes
• Engage and coordinate with external counsel for case representation and develop legal strategies
• Ensure timely compliance with judgments, decrees, and interim orders issued by courts or tribunals
• Draft and file petitions, replies, affidavits, and other court-related documents
• Develop and maintain a litigation tracker
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather case-specific information
