Roles & Responsibilities :
Job Summary:
- The Finance and Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the organization, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements of the entire Group.
- The role involves managing the day-to-day financial operations, analyzing financial data, developing budgets, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Manage financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
- Ensure proper cash flow management to meet the organizations operational needs.
- Review and approve payments, payroll, and invoices.
Accounts Management:
- Supervise and review the work of the accounts team to ensure accurate record-keeping and reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes effectively.
- Oversee tax compliance, including GST, VAT, TDS, corporate taxes, and timely filing of returns.
- Maintain a fixed asset register and oversee asset management processes.
- Participate and manage ERP implementation process.
Compliance and Internal Controls:
- Ensure compliance with statutory laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard the organizations financial assets.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities as required.
Strategic Financial Planning:
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic planning.
- Prepare financial models and business scenarios to aid in decision-making.
- Manage Due diligence readiness and support for Financial, Legal and Tax DDR.
Team Leadership and Coordination:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team.
- Coordinate with other departments to streamline financial processes and ensure accurate reporting.
Skills and Qualifications:
Essential:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications like CA, MBA are highly preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in finance and accounts management (preferably in Automotive industry or EPC industry).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (ERP Next experience would be an added advantage).
