Manager - Accounts & Finance
Role Summary:
- As the Manager - Accounts and Finance at 4AM Worldwide, you will oversee all aspects of accounting and financial management.
- This includes managing accounts receivable and payable, financial reporting, budgeting, variance analysis, payroll processing, and preparing financial statements.
- You will also ensure compliance with statutory requirements, optimize internal processes, and provide key insights to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Accounting Tasks:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting data using Tally, Excel, and ensure proper filing of paperwork.
- Raise invoices and verify inward remittances.
- Prepare work estimates for clients and purchase orders for vendors.
- Manage petty cash and ensure regular reconciliation.
- Periodic Accounting Tasks.
- Coordinate with Chartered Accountants and auditors for account finalization.
- Provide periodic financial and tax-related reports to directors.
- Follow up with clients for outstanding payments.
- Facilitate the opening of bank accounts for new employees.
- Verify and process major expense-related bills.
- Prepare an outstanding dues list and make timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Implement efficient accounting systems and processes where required.
- Handle payroll processing, including salary preparation, deductions, and filing of statutory returns.
Taxation-Related Responsibilities:
- Manage complete taxation work, including filing monthly, quarterly, and annual returns.
- Prepare documentation for income tax scrutiny proceedings.
- Handle service tax payments and file half-yearly returns.
- Plan tax deductions on employee salaries, including PT and other statutory requirements.
- Deduct and remit TDS, ensuring timely e-filing of TDS returns.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and statutory compliance.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience:
- 10-12 years of experience in accounting and finance management.
- Prior experience in handling taxation, payroll, and audits is preferred.
