Marsh & McLennan - Associate Director - Investments/Portfolio Intelligence (6-7 yrs)

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Investments team at Mercer.

This role will be based in Mumbai.

This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Associate Director Investments (Portfolio Intelligence).

As part of our Global Portfolio Intelligence team, the successful candidate will play a key role in the transformation of our investment capabilities globally.

We will count on you to:

- Work closely with internal stakeholders for development of investment management tools.

- Lead development of tools and processes to aid investment decision making.

- Develop enterprise-wide platforms to house investment models and tools.

- Act as a conduit between business and Information technology.

- Scale and uplift existing investment management infrastructure.

What you need to have:

- MBA/ BE/ B Tech from a top tier college and/or master's in finance / financial engineering / Quantitative Finance.

- 6+ Years of relevant experience in asset / wealth management.

- In depth knowledge of Factor modelling, portfolio theory and portfolio analytics is a must.

- Understanding and intuition for global markets and portfolio construction.

- Team management skills and ability to mentor and train colleagues (3 years plus).

- Hands on development experience in python with at least 5 years of experience.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with proven track record of implementing scalable solutions.

- Experience in portfolio analytics with ability to influence internal stakeholders.

What make you stand out:

- Experience with cloud and Barra/ FactSet risk models is a plus.

- Any progress towards FRM, CFA or CAIA is a plus.
