Data Analyst (3-5 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and data-driven Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in analyzing large datasets to uncover key insights and trends that drive business decisions.

You will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, transforming, and analyzing data using various tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities :

Data Collection & Analysis :

- Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and APIs.

- Perform in-depth data analysis using statistical and analytical techniques.

- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data.

- Develop and maintain data dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Prepare data visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI (preferred).

Data Reporting & Presentation :

- Prepare and present data analyses and findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

- Communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Develop and deliver presentations that effectively communicate key findings and recommendations.

Data Quality & Management :

- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data.

- Develop and implement data quality checks and validation procedures.

- Maintain data dictionaries and documentation.

Business Intelligence :

- Support business decision-making by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.

- Identify opportunities for data-driven improvements in business processes.

- Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in data analysis and business intelligence.

Qualifications :

- Essential : 5+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting.

- Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced functionalities like VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data summarization.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and presentation skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Bachelor's degree in any field (i.e. Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics).

Preferred :

- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

- Experience with SQL and databases.

- Experience with data mining and machine learning techniques.

- Experience with scripting languages (i.e. Python, R).
