Job Objective:
To monitor general accounting practices including accounts payables and receivables, payroll, end-of month closing, budgeting, auditing, developing internal accounting controls and ensuring statutory compliances.
The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, conducting audits, and providing financial advice to support strategic decision-making within the company.
They will ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws while optimizing financial processes to enhance the company's overall financial performance.
Key Responsibility Areas:
Execution:
- Tax planning and compliances: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and optimize tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities while maximizing benefits for the company.
- Audit Management: Coordinate internal and external audits, liaising with auditors to provide necessary documentation and ensure audit objectives are met efficiently.
- Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the company's financial stability and security.
- Financial Systems and Processes: Evaluate and improve financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Regulatory Compliances: Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry practices, ensuring the company's adherence to regulatory requirements
- Collaborate: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and management, to support business objectives and initiatives
- TDS Compliances: Checking group salary sheet for TDS working.
- Checking / Making entries in Genius Software of TDS entries for depositing.
- Maintaining and filling records of IT & TDS related file.
- Solving queries of Accounts/IT/TDS Matters with our domestics/.
International team:
- Create policies, procedures, and narratives to outline guidance regarding accounting procedures and to summarize accounting results or trends.
- Review all records and documentation to ensure accounting policies and procedures are properly followed and timely financial reporting, both internally and externally, is maintained.
- Review financial calculations and prepare financial reports as needed, and support and document as required.
- Review MKU GmbH cashflow reports.
- Review of scheduled report of all units including foreign entities.
- Manage fiscal filing system and maintain document related to transaction records for all facilities.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with external auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
- Lead year-end audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls within an organization's financial management system.
- Review payment ageing analysis and ensure smooth operations of billing processes and systems for raising invoices on time.
- Manage insurance renewal for existing facilities of MKU and propose insurance for new facilities.
- Review monthly MIS reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow, Projections, Financial Ratios) for all facilities (MKU, MKU GmbH, KT, Magnus, Adhunik).
- Review and analyze various linked MIS reports to provide feedback to top management on key financial performance metrics (e., fund management, cash flow, fund flow, credit control, profitability, etc.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities and drive cost reduction initiatives in the organization.
- Prepare and review audited balance sheets for MKU, MKU GmbH, Magnus, Adhunik facilities.
- Prepare and review consolidated balance sheet for MKU Group.
- Prepare annual operating plan and track actual business performance against the plan.
- Prepare CAPEX budgets at plant level and at consolidated level.
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting controls and adherence to SOPs.
Qualification:
- Min. qualification required: Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounts. Other desired qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) in similar corporate roles in manufacturing business.
Relevant Experience: Min. no. of years of relevant experience required: At least 10 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Strong financial controllership experience, including forecasting, budgeting, costing, audit, accounting.
- Working knowledge of transfer pricing principles.
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, auditing, accounting principles & standards, and the Indian financial system.
- Strategic thinking and planning to solve problem.
- Proactive in issue identification and problem-solving, collaboration with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and numerical proficiency.
- Good presentation and communication skills.
- Attention to details.
- MS Office skill.
- ERP (NAV or any other systems) Skill).
