Account Executive

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated Account Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and tax compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and GST/TDS compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Bookkeeping:

• Maintain and update financial records in Tally/Busy/Finsys or other accounting software.
• Record journal entries for purchases, sales, payments, receipts, and expenses.
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer accounts.
• Maintain ledgers for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general expenses.
• Assist in the preparation of profit & loss statements and balance sheets.

Taxation & Compliance:

• Ensure timely filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) and TDS returns.
• Reconcile GSTR-2A/2B with purchase records for accurate Input Tax Credit (ITC).
• Deduct and deposit TDS on applicable transactions.
• Assist in audits, tax assessments, and compliance-related documentation.

Financial Management:

• Monitor cash flow, outstanding payments, and vendor due payments.
• Process employee reimbursements and vendor payments on time.
• Prepare and submit MIS reports as per management requirements.
• Handle bank-related work, including fund transfers, loans, and reconciliations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: B.Com/M.Com/MBA (Finance) or equivalent degree in Accounting.
• Experience: 3-5 years in accounting, bookkeeping, and taxation.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in Advance MS Excel, and accounting software (Finsys/SAP/Tally/Busy).
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards.
• Skills: Attention to detail, problem-solving, and strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a manufacturing, trading, or service industry.
• Knowledge of e-invoicing and e-way bill processes.
• Certification in GST or accounting software is a plus.
