Job Title: Quality Executive (Food Industry)

Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Executive to join our team in the food industry. The Quality Executive will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of product quality, food safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This individual will play a key role in monitoring, controlling, and improving quality processes throughout the production cycle, ensuring that products meet customer expectations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance and Control:
• Monitor daily production processes to ensure adherence to established quality standards.
• Conduct inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Identify and address any deviations or non-conformances in product quality.
• Perform regular audits of production areas, ensuring compliance with hygiene, safety, and quality standards.
2. Food Safety Compliance:
• Ensure all products comply with food safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain records of quality checks, tests, and inspections for traceability and audits.
• Participate in food safety audits, reviews, and corrective actions as needed.
• Support the implementation of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) or similar food safety systems.
3. Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of quality-related activities and incidents.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on product quality, compliance, and safety to management.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
4. Continuous Improvement:
• Contribute to the development and improvement of quality control processes.
• Assist in the identification and implementation of improvements to enhance product quality and production efficiency.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes.
5. Customer Complaint Resolution:
• Investigate customer complaints related to product quality and safety.
• Work closely with the customer service team to resolve complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
6. Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the production process.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers, ensuring raw materials meet required quality standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Management, or related field.
• Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in a quality assurance role within the food industry.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000) and quality control systems.
• Skills:
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and quality management software.
• Certifications: HACCP, ISO 22000, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
