Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Sweets and Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our sweets and restaurant business. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high-quality food and beverage standards, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the sweets and restaurant, including staff supervision, inventory management, and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
- Develop and implement processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Customer Service:
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards, responding promptly to customer complaints and feedback.
- Develop and implement customer loyalty programs to increase repeat business.
- Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the sweets and restaurant.
Food and Beverage:
- Oversee the development and implementation of menus, ensuring high-quality food and beverage standards.
- Manage food costs, inventory, and supply chain logistics.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
Sweets Production:
- Oversee the production of sweets, ensuring high-quality products and maintaining consistency.
- Manage inventory of sweets ingredients and supplies.
- Develop and implement processes to improve sweets production efficiency.
Sales and Marketing:
- Develop and implement sales growth strategies to increase revenue.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the sweets and restaurant through social media, events, and advertising.
Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of sweets and restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, hosts/hostesses, kitchen staff, and sweets production staff.
- Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to team members.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sweets and restaurant management.
- Proven track record of success in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and reducing costs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Nice to Have:
- Certification in food safety and handling.
- Experience with restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems.
- Knowledge of Indian sweets and cuisine.
