Job Title: Executive - MIS

2. Job Purpose
To provide comprehensive data support for the Centre for Industry Academia Partnership (CIAP) activities, including placements, internships, and corporate relations.

3. Key Responsibilities

Strategic:

• Assist in the execution of CIAP strategies through effective data management and reporting.

Operational:

• Collect, maintain, and manage data related to CIAP activities (placements, internships, and corporate relations).
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather data on business metrics.
• Design templates and compile data as per CIAP requirements.
• Generate and deliver accurate and timely management reports.
• Prepare performance presentations on a weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis.
• Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including school-wise and department-wise counts and variances.
• Develop reports such as monthly reviews, revenue reports, and target vs. achievement analyses.
• Maintain a comprehensive database using Excel on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis.
• Identify and implement process improvements for reporting efficiency and consistency.
• Develop and update reports based on the specific needs of different departments.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for data collection and ensure data accuracy.
• Utilize placement/internship portals and business intelligence tools to generate reports for all MITWPU schools.
• Analyze and present data using advanced software solutions.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy before sharing final reports.
• Support the Reporting Manager with accreditation and ranking activities.
• Regularly update and maintain project trackers.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Research & Development:

• Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in career services.

Financial & Budget Management:

• Track, utilize, and optimize the budget related to MIS and data functions.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with various university functions to ensure smooth data operations.

Academic:

• Stay informed about advancements in career services.

External Representation:

• Represent the department externally as required.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate or postgraduate degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• MBA preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and business intelligence tools.
• Familiarity with standard administrative practices and procedures.
