Job Title Sr. Executive / Executive IT Security

Reporting to Manager / DGM
2. Role Overview:
• Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of
current networks
• Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers,
switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP
• Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network
installation
• Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximise network efficiency and security
• Maximising network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
• Maintaining, configuring, and monitoring virus protection software and email applications.
• Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing
network security measures.
• Perform maintenance that all systems are operating. • Collect and analyze data to optimize performance.
• Arranging scheduled upgrades
• Investigating faults in the network
• Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases
• Reporting network status to key stakeholders DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE Required:
3. Objectives and Responsibilities:
• Demonstrated understanding of processes, strategies & methods.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Proven track record of installing, configuring, and troubleshooting UNIX-based
• Experience creating scripts and setting up software for automation.
• Exceptional knowledge of networking technologies (OSI network layers, TCP/IP).
• Familiarity with administration, performance tuning, and system monitoring.
• Good communication skills (written, verbal, and face-to-face).
4. Minimum Qualification & Experience:
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills with small and large groups
• Ability to learn new systems and packages
• Strong analytical skills with ability to understand/ handle university complexities
• Minimum 3 to 6 years relevant experience.
• Bachelor's or Masters Degree (preferably from a top reputed university)
• Great organizational and time management skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and communication abilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
