Assistant Manager IT

Role & responsibilities :

• Level 1 , 2, L3 support (remote/onsite), maintenance and resolution of hardware and software issues related to end-user desktops/laptops, servers, printers, and other network issues within the organisation.
• Vendor escalation for desktops/laptop, Server hardware purchases, repairs, or software troubleshooting.
• Maintain and review IT documentation, covering infrastructure, inventory, service subscriptions and contracts.
• Support, review & liaise with end users on the implementation of an IT governance framework, policies, systems, infrastructure to ensure compliance and alignment to guidelines.
• Provide input for annual IT requirements planning and budgeting.
• Involve and conduct regular system audit for IT effectiveness, efficiency, and security.
• Analyse & evaluate system & users requirements and make recommendations for IT upgrades.
• Proactively propose suggestions to improve IT systems and operations.
• Work with external service providers to implement new applications, projects, or upgrades.
• Liaise with multiple vendors and stakeholders in resolving problems in the rolling out of new applications and ensuring that project delivery is on time.

• Any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Management.
• Microsoft Azure Server, Microsoft O365.
• Microsoft NAV 2016, Microsoft Business central.
• Email and End point security system.
• Excellent experience in window domain environment.

Able to handle data centre work independently.

Preferred candidate profile :

• Strong technical background in network systems, server system, azure cloud & virtualization.
• Working on ITSM tool.
• Self-motivated, proactive, meticulous, and adaptable to fast changes.
• Good communication skills and a team player.
• Prioritize tasks effectively and able to work well under pressure.
• Able to explore new ideas and innovation; and partner with key teams across the organisation to deliver effective IT solutions.
• Able to work both as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision, with reasonably good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of the English language, both verbal and written.
• Resourceful, innovative, and able to adapt in a changing environment.

Able to work with external parties (stakeholders, external parties, vendors, and service providers) to deliver results through collaboration, partnerships, and services.
