MishiPay - Information Security Manager (5-7 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute a comprehensive Security Strategy at an international level, encompassing product design, infrastructure, integration, and data flows.

- Create and maintain policy documents, including disaster recovery, business continuity, data compliance, and physical security protocols.

- Conduct risk assessments and investigations, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing action plans to mitigate them efficiently.

- Address security-related queries, providing technical and strategic resolutions.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate security issues into actionable business risks.

- Work closely with external stakeholders, including retail customers and partners, to address security concerns and deliver clear recommendations.

- Stay updated on industry standards, trends, and emerging technologies to enhance security protocols.

About You :

- The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in Information Security, preferably in a startup or SME environment.

- You should be passionate about embedding security culture into the core of the business and capable of building a high-performing security function.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Significant knowledge of current information security standards and best practices.

- Expertise in technical security areas such as access management, network security, integration security, and data recovery.

- Structured approach to incident and crisis management in complex environments.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to balance deep dives and the bigger picture.

- Experience mentoring or managing small teams, with a drive to develop a top-tier security culture.

- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- A related degree or equivalent experience.

- Proven track record in managing projects, meeting tight deadlines, and handling budgets effectively.

- Experience with online and digital payment platforms is a significant advantage
