Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled API Developer to join our dynamic team. As an API Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) for our [web/mobile/desktop] applications. You will work closely with our development team to ensure system consistency and improve user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing APIs.
- Implementing scalable RESTful APIs.
- Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Ensuring high performance of applications and providing support.
- Troubleshooting and debugging applications.
- Monitoring, testing, and continuously optimizing your code.
- Documenting APIs for internal and external use.
Req uirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven work experience as an API Developer.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API design principles.
- Experience with web services standards and related technologies (HTTP, JSON, XML, etc.).
- Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and ORM technologies.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Problem-solving aptitude and analytical thinking.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of API security standards and implementation (OAuth, JWT).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
